Keep your money book

See all money in and out in one place, sort it into categories and check your profit for any period.

  1. Open the money book

Go to Money → Money book. Till sales are counted for you — do not record them again here.

  2. Record expenses

Add money out for rent, fuel, salaries and other costs, and give each one a category. Add your own category when you need one.

  3. Bring in a bank statement

Choose Bring in a bank statement to import your bank’s statement file. Check the first rows, then sort entries that need a category.

  4. Check your profit

Choose a profit period to see money in, cost of goods sold, gross profit, expenses by category and net profit.

  5. Fix mistakes

Entries are never deleted. Choose Reverse entry to cancel one; the reversal is kept in the history.
