Make products with recipes and batches

Write recipes, make batches from your raw materials, check quality and put finished goods into stock with their real cost.

  1. Write a recipe

Go to Manufacturing and choose New recipe. Pick the finished product and list the ingredients and packaging per batch. Save draft recipe, then Approve recipe.

  2. Plan a batch

Choose Plan a batch, pick the approved recipe, the units to make, where to take materials from and where to put finished goods in.

  3. Make it

Choose Start batch. Materials are taken from the raw store.

  4. Check quality

Enter the good units made and a quality check note. Release to stock or Reject batch.

  5. Know your cost

See unit cost for the batch and, if you want, use this batch cost as the item cost. Print labels for the finished goods.
